Dr. Deborah Schick graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Schick has extensive experience in treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries as well as significant experience in the treatment and management of cumulative trauma and repetitive stress injuries. Dr. Schick also has extensive experience and training in nutrition to help patients achieve their desired optimal health.
Dr. Schick received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas and quickly developed a habit of helping people achieve their goals which propelled her into an executive corporate role in marketing. She decided to make a career change due to her own medical condition which was ultimately resolved through chiropractic help. Based on her personal experience, Dr. Schick decided to devote the rest of her life using all of her medical and nutritional skills to help heal people. She really enjoys getting to know her patients and guiding them to the healthier lifestyle they are seeking. She believes in a holistic approach for the treatment and management of all types of ailments.
Dr. Schick resides in the East Bay with her husband, an account executive for a major computer company and an avid runner (Boston Marathon finisher) and tennis player. Deborah’s 80 year old working mom also lives with them and makes sure they stay active by keeping up with her!
Dr. Schick loves to travel, hike, play tennis, read and stimulate the economy (also known as “shopping” by her husband’s technical definition!). Dr Schick has a sister who is a nurse and a wonderful dog named Teddy who supplies endless amounts of unconditional love and very funny moments to the family.
