Jennifer Rubenstein
Jennifer has been practicing massage at Conscious Chiropractic since May 2006. She received her Therapeutic Massage Certification from Alive and Well, Institute of Conscious Bodywork in Corte Madera, CA. After completing her massage certification, she furthered her education by becoming full body certified in Active Release Techniques® (a soft tissue movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.
Jennifer is a skilled and sensitive massage therapist who listens to the wisdom and intuition of the body in order to relieve the physical and emotional stress that lies within. She tailors each session to the specific needs of the individual with the aim of releasing pain and discomfort, as well as addressing the dysfunction of long held patterns of tension and overuse. Her style of massage is very focused, incorporating Active Release, trigger point, deep tissue, stretching, and myofascial release techniques.
An outdoor enthusiast, Jennifer loves to swim, bike and run and in August, 2005, completed her goal of finishing her first Ironman. In addition to triathalons, Jennifer loves to write, create art from found objects, and relax with her two cats, Rudy and Bear. She plans on doing more Ironman triathalons, and is currently planning her next big adventure of biking the Ring Road around Iceland in 2008.
